POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate, assign and oversee the functions of creating Custom Engineering schedules as to ensure commitments are achieved while maximizing engineering opportunities, achievement of milestones and key dates. Incorporate new projects into engineering and manufacturing schedule, assign milestone dates – Ship Date, Due Date and Critical Path items. Maintain high level of system operating knowledge and processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, maintain, and update the daily Custom Engineering team schedules for all team members
Enter job/project data into scheduling tool within turn-time goals
Assign appropriate resource based on each employee’s skill and availability
Understand all scheduling processes and impacts of actions to schedule
Work and understand each scheduled line and identify long lead times, capacity allowance and/or constraints, exceptions and trouble-spots and lead efforts for resolution
Have ownership of overall Custom Engineering projects queue and schedule based on achieving overall lead-time, scheduled engineering dates and Release to MFG/Explode dates.
Ensures that key deliverable dates for engineering are achieved
Identify methods and/or roadblocks, from a scheduling perspective, for improving the Quick Custom/Custom Select teams’ ability to adhere to the project schedule. Includes actively participating in regular Custom Select team meetings.
Ensure that identifying and/or keying ship date and Release/Explode to MFG dates are completed within allocated turn-time and according to current dating guidelines.
Facilitate handling of Move ups, Rushes, and other priorities, as required
Completes other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary with ability to troubleshoot
Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Previous experience desired (production, clinic, or staff scheduling)
High School diploma or GED
The target hourly range is $24.00 - $29.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.
In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for a profit-sharing opportunity.
