Join Colgate-Palmolive, a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, their pets, and our planet. Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

Position Summary The Logistics Claims Analyst is a strategic role designed to identify and mitigate "revenue leakage" caused by overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) within the fast-paced FMCG sector. This position requires extensive investigation, data gathering, analytics, and active cross-functional interaction with Warehousing, Transportation, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and customer teams. You will act as the crucial link between operations and financial recovery, ensuring meticulous documentation and prompt resolution of freight variances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Processing & Documentation

  • Weekly compilation of all necessary documentation—including the Bill of Lading (BOL), merchandise invoices, photographic evidence, and correspondence—specifically for accident, theft, or vandalized loads to successfully file carrier claims.

  • Access claims daily in EZClaim to update the diary section with all incoming and outgoing communications. Update the "freight bill pro" section with UF (Uber Freight) claim numbers, maintain the RFCC tracker, and save, label, and forward Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to the C2C team to advise if claims can be closed.

  • Access the EZClaim/Infios portal using assigned credentials to promptly initiate and track new freight claims.

  • Conduct weekly reviews of RFCCs to ensure that all required documentation is included in the packet prior to filing claims.

  • Returns Authorization Processing

  • RA Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end Return Authorization (RMA) process, ensuring all return requests are validated against policies and processed within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to minimize cycle time.

  • Cross-Functional Optimization: Partner with Quality Assurance, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Support teams to analyze return trends and implement workflow improvements that reduce bounce rates and recovery costs.

  • Legal Execution & Compliance

  • Populate carrier claim release letters with the current date, carrier name, UF claim number, internal claim number, dollar amount, and incident details. Send the release to UF for redlining, consult with the legal department for review of any redlines, and utilize DocuSign to submit the Contract Authorization Form to upper management for final signature. Ensure strict adherence to the Carmack Amendment regarding carrier liability and legal exceptions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Meetings

  • Weekly follow up on open business priorities and coordinate team schedules and time off

  • Connect regularly with internal and external partners (such as Uber Freight) to review the status of priority and at-risk claims, identify ongoing risks, define action plans, and communicate results and challenges

  • System Tracking & Operational Support

  • Review the daily Hypercare Tool to ensure it is being updated accurately by all parties involved in the returns process

  • Provide weekly backup coverage to maintain continuous operations whenever the 4PL OS&D resource is out of the office

  • Review daily communications and seamlessly forward them to the C2C logistics team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume logistics, transportation, or supply chain role.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong data analytical skills: ability to research, identify requirements, gather, clean, analyze, and summarize data, and present findings insightfully. Good working knowledge of Excel, and google tools

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP (TM, S/4HANA) or Oracle OTM is highly preferred

  • Experience in claims, returns and refusals processes

  • Proven analytical problem solving, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative, propose innovative ideas, and drive them to execution
