ManpowerGroup Six Sigma Project Manager in DeKalb, Illinois
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager to join their team. As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Supply Chain Project Manager
Location: DeKalb, IL (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $45 to $55 per hour on W-2
Duration: contract till Dec 31, 2026
What's the Job?
Lead high-impact process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment to ensure timely execution
Conduct process analysis, audits, and performance assessments to identify opportunities for optimization
Drive enhancements in logistics, warehouse operations, and material flow systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver measurable results
What's Needed?
Proven experience leading Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement initiatives
Strong project management and disciplined execution skills with a history of delivering results
Hands-on experience in automated warehouse or distribution environments
Familiarity with AGVs, robotics, conveyor systems, and WMS platforms
Solid background in quality, inspection, and operational excellence practices
