Maintenance Technician III – 2nd Shift

DeKalb, IL | Direct Hire

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting and keeping equipment running at peak performance? We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician III to join a growing manufacturing team in DeKalb, IL.

This is a direct hire opportunity offering strong pay, full benefits, and long-term stability.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automated systems

  • Maintain and repair machines, conveyors, motors, pumps, and production equipment

  • Inspect equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

  • Support installation and upgrades of new equipment

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

  • Assist with general facility upkeep including HVAC, plumbing, and building systems

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems

  • Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with equipment such as motors, conveyors, sensors, and automated systems

  • Ability to read basic schematics, charts, and drawings

  • Comfortable working in a physically active environment (lifting, standing, etc.)
