Job Title : School Nurse
Schedule : Monday - Friday : School Hours
(with potential for bus rides or after school needs )
Pay : $38 / hour
Position Overview :
We are currently hiring LPNs to provide 1:1 care for a student in a school setting. This role includes monitoring health conditions, administering medications, and ensuring your students safety throughout the school day. Nurses may also assist with G-tube or feeding tube care, diabetes management, and other specialized medical needs.
You will work closely with school staff, families, and our clinical team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support each student’s health and well-being.
Qualifications :
LPN License issued by NYS
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Pediatric or School Nursing experience Required
Ability to work independently in a school setting
Communicate with families , school staff , and healthcare providers
Compensation :
LPN : $38/hour
Weekly pay - direct deposit
Overtime opportunities available
Responsibilities:
Perform patient care duties and treatments as per care plan.
Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
Administer medications and other personalized interventions.
Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.
Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to stand/work for extended periods
Additional responsibilities as required.
