Pipefitter General Foreman
Supervise and approve maintenance activities and coordinate various aspects of piping projects to include, but not limited to: Material submissions, working drawings, perform and supervise the installation, testing, and inspection of piping support and mechanical equipment & processing documentation as required. Support Planning with the execution of all piping installations, supporting design and drafting activities including providing leadership, monitoring schedules and budgets, evaluating productivity & quality and directing the complete technical operations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement standardized work processes, procedures, manuals, and systems and execute the systems of control for each maintenance activity.
Responsible for reviewing drawings to ensure conformity with applicable codes & specifications and established discipline standards.
Work with Site Teams to review project staffing and work with other department stakeholders on resource sharing; schedule work assignments while providing guidance, training, and assistance to designers, checkers, and drafters on projects.
Direct and manage the activities of support personnel in the planning, scheduling, quality control, and execution of piping projects.
Ensure all piping activities are performed in compliance with the requirements of the relevant specifications, drawings, codes, and standards according to the contract.
Organize, coordinate, and supervise maintenance activities in accordance with schedules, monitor and review to complete work on time and within budget.
Maintain a daily record of progress; report any fundamental issues, defects, and recommendations for improvement.
Manage the completion of all required deliverables including scope of work write-ups, isometrics, piping plans, tie-in-lists, and bills of materials.
Organize and perform inspection of material equipment received and the preventative maintenance of equipment stored; conduct investigation and take remedial action within the scope of the discipline works of all variances, deviations, non-conformances, extra works, and non-budgeted costs.
Troubleshoot and execute plans of resolution with difficulties & problems in discussion with contractor representatives and, if necessary, with other site supervisors.
Promote job safety and environmental awareness in maintenance workers and other persons at site.
Ensure that personnel are inducted and trained in their roles & responsibilities and ensure that each one can perform their allotted duties.
Check and maintain equipment to comply with quality and safety standards.
Perform routine checks on assigned personnel and the work performed during the previous day/shift to ensure compliance with prescribed contractual specifications.
Management and oversight of the works and monitor the technical requirements around the mechanical piping systems.
Follow in the quality procedures; conduct Piping/Mechanical reviews of all planned work activities to ensure that quality procedures were followed.
Perform oversight of all welding activities to ensure ASME quality procedures apply.
Responsible for ensuring that piping installations are installed as per drawings.
Ensure that plant piping specs are followed, and all installations are field verified.
Must be willing to respond to after hour calls from the site.
Willingness to come to the site in the event of an unplanned or emergent need.
Develop and maintain a callout list of certified technicians.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education:
Certification/License : NCCER Piping required; NCCER Supervisor is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of Eight (8) years of cumulative experience.
