Material Handler – Warehouse Operations
1st & 2nd Shift | Full‑Time | Weekly Pay
We are seeking reliable and detail‑oriented Forklift Operators to support warehouse material handling and inventory accuracy. This role involves operating stand‑up / man‑up forklifts while assisting with inventory verification, kitting, and order fulfillment. Daily responsibilities may vary and include a mix of forklift operation and hands‑on inventory tasks.
Shifts Available:
1st Shift
2nd Shift
Training will be conducted on 1st shift for approximately 1–3 weeks.
Job Summary:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory movement and efficient warehouse operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for candidates with strong forklift experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate stand‑up / man‑up forklifts to move, stage, and kit materials
Review printed pick lists and verify inventory availability and accuracy
Label, tag, and organize parts and materials within the warehouse
Perform manual inventory counts and physical verification
Complete basic computer data entry and navigate inventory systems
Support inventory control efforts and maintain organized storage areas
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of forklift experience within the last 5 years
Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a warehouse setting
Comfortable with basic computer use and data entry
Ability to bend, twist, and lift as required for inventory tasks
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Comfortable working at heights while wearing required safety harnesses
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Previous inventory control or cycle counting experience
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting with standing, walking, lifting, and forklift operation
Mandatory overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays

This is a Permanent position based out of Decatur, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.65/hr.
