Aerotek Inventory Coordinator in Decatur, Illinois

Inventory Coordinator – $21/hour

2nd & 3rd Shift | Warehouse Environment | Full‑Time

We are hiring detail‑oriented Logistics Inventory Specialists to support inventory accuracy and material flow on 2nd and 3rd shift . This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem‑solving, working with data, and ensuring physical inventory aligns with system records in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Shifts Available:

  • 2nd Shift

  • 3rd Shift

  • Training will take place on day shift for approximately two weeks.

Job Summary:

As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for owning inventory accuracy by performing physical counts, analyzing discrepancies, and maintaining inventory records using computer systems such as SAP. This position combines hands‑on warehouse work with analytical and computer‑based inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize inventory systems (including SAP ) to track and manage inventory data

  • Perform physical inventory counts to ensure alignment with system records

  • Identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies

  • Print, audit, and analyze inventory reports

  • Operate material movement equipment including stand‑up forklifts and electric carts

  • Label, organize, and control inventory within warehouse locations

  • Maintain ownership of inventory accuracy and reporting

  • Follow all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with inventory tracking, data entry, and web‑based/database systems

  • Experience using Microsoft Office , particularly Outlook

  • Comfortable operating stand‑up forklifts and other warehouse vehicles

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

  • Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance record

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as an Inventory Analyst, Auditor, or Supply Chain Planner

  • Forklift training and certification

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
