Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate will perform general maintenance, cleaning, sanitation, and support inventory management while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and structural components, including leaky faucets, unclogging drains, changing bulbs, ballasts, drywall patching, and painting.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors; clean restrooms and break rooms; empty trash and recycling receptacles; ensure common areas are presentable.
Assist with visual inspections and reporting on facility components such as PIV/Riser and Pump house.
Arrange furniture, tables, and chairs for meetings, events, or training sessions. Take down and store items after events.
Adhere to all safety protocols and identify potential safety hazards, damaged equipment, or structural issues to management.
Assist in receiving shipments of supplies, organizing storage rooms, and tracking inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance materials.
Operate facility equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and basic hand tools safely and efficiently.
Essential Skills
Facilities maintenance and repair skills.
Experience with filler rebuild-level maintenance tasks, including inspection, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Proficiency in operating conveyors and bottling machinery.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and light maintenance equipment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in maintenance, janitorial services, or general labor is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings for emergency calls or special events.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
