Emerson Hardware Engineering Manager in DEBRECEN, Hungary
Our HW Sustaining team designs HW solutions, redesigns, maintains and validates HW products to maintain the revenue generated by these through their lifetime. As part of the global R&D organization, you are responsible for handling the HW development, product redesigns and lifecycle management related projects by motivating changes, leading resources, defining group strategies and coordinating the career development of HW engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical Engineering or a similar field, with several years of work experience, at least three years of leadership experience.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead and supervise a team of HW Engineers and technicians in the execution of HW development and maintenance projects
Run the activities of engineering support and redesign of our products which are already on the market so that R&D can focus on the development of new products
Lead activities to support product life cycle management
Participation in projects related to cost reduction, efficiency and reliability improvement, technology change, manufacturability and testability related activities
Facilitating communication between your team and other R&D and Manufacturing groups
Intensive teamwork within the global R&D engineering, as well as with the engineering and production groups participating in the HW development and maintenance projects
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure that all the supported products meet the required standards and specifications
Support our internal and external customers, provide technical support and solutions for customer and Manufacturing issues
Responsible for the professional and career development of the HW Engineers and Technicians within your team by identifying training and career development opportunities
Lead the team's resources, budgets, and schedules to ensure that our projects and tasks are driven in an efficient way
Develop and maintain relationships with key collaborators to ensure alignment and effective communication
Define group strategies and handle our resources

For This Role, You Will Need:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
At least 3 years of leadership experience by handling Engineers and Technicians
Strong technical and leadership skills
Demonstrated success and experience in project management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions
Personality committed to achieving goals, open to growth and learning
An excellent standout colleague and active participation in partnership
Ability to prioritize projects, tasks and operational expenses
Experience in handling resources, budgets, and schedules
Ability to work with multi-functional teams
