Technical Program Manager - Scrum Master
Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager / Scrum Master to lead and oversee the execution of technology-focused projects and programs. This role involves driving Agile practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions, particularly within backend or e-commerce environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Lead Agile practices and coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles
Drive continuous improvement to optimize workflows and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
Support Program Increment (PI) planning and ensure visibility across feature development and release cycles
Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and stakeholders to maintain a refined and prioritized product backlog
Identify, track, and resolve risks and impediments impacting team progress
Utilize tools for backlog management, sprint tracking, and release execution
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical execution and business objectives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Technical Program Management, Release Management, or similar roles within a software development environment
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes
Proficiency in Jira for managing backlogs, sprints, issues, and releases
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
Understanding of backend systems, APIs, integrations, and data flows
