Collaborate with business process experts, architects, and other software engineers to strategize, design, and develop robust and scalable technical solutions for data integration challenges. Lead and participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to define technical features and user stories for data integration projects. Perform and review code, technical configurations, and data mappings, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best practices. Translate business requirements into well-defined, repeatable, and efficient data integration processes that can be implemented by software engineers and readily modified by other data engineers/software engineers. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software and application changes, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments. Research and evaluate new technologies and open-source components relevant to data integration, middleware, and cloud computing, providing recommendations for adoption. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, legal, and contractual guidelines in all data integration activities.
