We are seeking a Quality Functional Engineering Master Black Belt (MBB) specializing in Body Exterior and Interior Systems (Labels focus) . This critical role bridges the gap between Vehicle Operations, Product Development, and our Supply Base to drive global process improvements and quality excellence.
As a lead coach, you will spearhead the Single Agenda for Quality , guiding functional teams through complex problem-solving (DMAIC, 8D, 3L5W) to protect Corporate and Vehicle Line Warranty Targets. You will serve as the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for procedure modifications and be a key team member in high-profile digital rollouts, including E2E Warranty and Digital Birth Certificate initiatives.
What you'll do ...
Strategic Coaching: Act as the lead coach for Single Agenda for Quality Priority Resolution Projects, guiding teams through 3L5W, 8D, and DMAIC methodologies to mitigate risks to warranty targets.
Global Project Leadership: Provide Master Black Belt support for large-scale projects, collaborating with Finance, Product Development, and Suppliers to optimize quality and processes.
Procedure Management: Oversee, update, and modify Global Procedures based on regional requirements; serve as the primary SME for procedure clarifications.
Prevent Reoccurrence (PRA): Support assembly plants and functional teams in executing PAC paper 14D actions to ensure robust problem-solving and accurate VIN population identification.
Digital Transformation: Lead the implementation of global project rollouts, including E2E Warranty systems and Digital Birth Certificate initiatives.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Work closely with Vehicle Operations and the Supply Base to ensure alignment on quality standards and global process integration.

-Bachelor Degree or equivalent technical/manufacturing aptitude
-Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certified
-Plant Vehicle Team/Manufacturing experience with ability to work within the plant environment to drive Quality

This position is a leadership salary grade 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.
