Ford Motor Company Project Manager Associate - Model E in Dearborn, Michigan

This role serves two key functions: Project Manager Associate for various small-scale efforts leveraging Smartsheet Administration skillset (or other designated Project Management Platform/Tool) and supporting key administrative actions necessary for project management hygiene.

What you'll do...

Project Management Associate:

Project Setup & Tracking: Assist team members and stakeholders with setting up and tracking progress for small, defined projects or initiatives within designated tools.

Task Coordination: Help coordinate tasks and deadlines for participants on small projects, ensuring clear understanding of responsibilities and timelines.

Communication & Updates: Assist in gathering information and compiling concise status updates for non-complex projects to share with relevant stakeholders.

Documentation: Help maintain basic project documentation and artifacts within Smartsheet or linked repositories for small projects.

Process Support: Support the team by managing special requests and administrative tasks related to small project execution as needed.

Risk Identification: While not leading risk management, help identify, and flag potential roadblocks or risks encountered on small projects to the appropriate team members or manager.

Project Management Support Administrator:

Platform Management: Support needs related to provisioning and removing access, structure and innovation in how tool is leveraged, and required project specific hygiene to keep information up to date and an accurate representation of the work being progressed.

Support Project Related Information Curation: Build, maintain and deliver reports that provide core business partners and leaders alike the right information they need for timely decisions and project risk mitigation

Training & Onboarding: Act as a “go-to” with onboarding new users to the Platform and provide basic coaching and training to ensure comfortability of partners with everyday use.

Data Integrity: Help ensure the accuracy and consistency of data entered and maintained within key Smartsheet assets.

Tool Adoption & Improvement: Support the adoption of the Platform and other collaboration tools by identifying ways to improve processes through their effective use, particularly for tracking work and enhancing transparency on small initiatives. Leverage approved AI tools to drive efficiency and time management.

You'll bring...

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience

  • 3+ years of proven hands-on experience using Smartsheet (or other project management software), including technical back-end provisioning, building sheets, reports, data shuttles, and dashboards.

  • Experience with Smartsheet administration (user/group management) is highly preferred.

  • Experience supporting projects, coordinating tasks, or managing workflows within a team environment.

This position ranges from a salary grade 6-8 from $72,000 - $120,000.
