The Global Dealer Excellence Design team shapes the future of Ford’s retail and experiential environments worldwide. Our mission is to translate Ford’s brand and customer strategy into compelling, human-centered environments that elevate the dealership experience, strengthen dealer partnerships, and create meaningful connections between customers and the Ford brand.
Through design excellence, research-driven thinking, and multidisciplinary collaboration, the team develops scalable global design systems that support Ford’s evolving retail ecosystem across physical and digital customer touchpoints.
What you'll do...
Design Management:
Environmental Design Center of Excellence includes architecture, interior design, FFE, landscape, sustainability
Develop project brief in partnership with delivery team
Responsible for project timelines and resource deployment for on time/on budget delivery
Coordinate digital and experiential design for seamless integration
Design communication.
Design:
Produce and coordinate design concepts, presentation material, technical solutions, mock-ups, FFE, brand, exhibit and artwork
Integration of design research and "Return On Experience"
Liaison with external agencies, Ford business partners, GDE partners
Center of excellence for human-centered design and design research
Global retail design standards and guidelines including program-specific design intent documents.
You'll have...
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited institution.
5+ years of professional design experience in architecture, interior design, experiential design, or retail environments.
3+ years of experience in global commercial practice.
Portfolio is required demonstrating Human Centered project outcomes.

Master’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited institution.
Experience delivering design programs across global markets or large retail networks preferred

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
