In this position...
Join Ford’s Global Supply Chain PMO as a Lead architecting our 'single source of truth.' In this pivotal role, you will transform complex global purchasing data into standardized, high-impact visualizations that bridge the gap between technical data architecture and executive decision-making
Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Lead to join our Global Supply Chain PMO. This role is pivotal in driving the standardization and visualization of complex data sets to support the Business Office, Excellence team, and the broader Supply Chain organization. As the primary architect for how our Global Purchasing organization visualizes and interprets mission-critical data, you will bridge the gap between complex data architecture and executive decision-making. We are looking for a leader who can transform raw, complex data into a "single source of truth," ensuring that our data capabilities remain agile, informed, and standardized
What you'll do...
Scalable Data Strategy: Design and implement data standards and frameworks within the Business Office that are built to scale across the enterprise.
Complex Matrix Mapping: Synthesize and manage intricate part mapping and relationships to identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities within the supply chain.
Executive Storytelling: Transform complex data sets into high-quality presentations (PowerPoint) and dashboards (Power BI) tailored for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Financial & Data Integration: Apply strong financial acumen to align supply chain data with financial priorities, ensuring that cost-savings, budget tracking, and financial impacts are accurately reflected in visualizations.
Enterprise Standardization: Act as the subject matter expert for data governance, ensuring consistency in metrics and reporting methodologies as the role expands to support broader supply chain functions.
Process Automation & Excellence: Utilize Alteryx and other advanced tools to automate manual data collection, driving efficiency and "leaning out" reporting cycles.
PMO Leadership: Lead the data workstream for major projects, utilizing Smartsheet, Jira, or MS Project to ensure data milestones align with overall project timelines.
Change Management & Influence: Champion a data-driven culture by influencing stakeholders across the organization to adopt standardized tools and processes.
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance or other relevant fields of study
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Operations, Engineering, or related fields.
Expertise in complex part mapping, understanding and synthesizing of matrix relationships within a global manufacturing or supply chain context.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel data analysis to inform storytelling (e.g., pivot tables, complex lookups, Power Query).
Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to understand the financial implications of supply chain and procurement decisions.
Proficiency in using PowerPoint to create presentations tailored to different audiences.
Experience using Project Management tools and software (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, Jira) to track large-scale initiatives
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills required to influence stakeholders
Even better, you may have...
Prior experience in Product Management or a "customer-centric" business role.
Technical mastery/knowledge of Power BI (DAX/Power Query), Alteryx, Ariba, and SAP.
Demonstrated ability to manage and manipulate massive, unorganized data sets into meaningful business insights.
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in Organizational Transformation or scaling data processes across multiple departments.
You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
