Performance Driven Workforce Full-Time Assemblers / Entry-Level Mechanics in Livonia in Dearborn, Michigan
Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full-Time Assemblers / Entry-Level Mechanics for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. We are looking for motivated people to work with automotive components to support automotive assemblies and builds. This is a hands-on position and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles such as Off-Road, Autonomous, Military and Electric. Must be able to work overtime. This is a great opportunity for someone just starting who has the drive to be a mechanic and possesses a great attitude. This Full-Time Assemblers /Entry-Level Mechanics position is based out of Livonia, MI. Candidates meeting the requirements for the Assemblers / Entry-Level Mechanics position below are strongly encouraged to apply. AM Day shift + Overtime available.
Shift Schedule:
- AM Day shift: 6:00am to 2:30 pm (Monday -- Friday, plus Saturday as needed)
Must be able and willing to work 5-6 days/week, 8-10-hour shifts

Requirements:
- 1 year of recent hands-on assembly experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have basic understanding of automotive systems
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment safely
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must possess the skills to read, comprehend and execute written procedures
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn
- Good oral and written communication skills
Must have excellent attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends when needed
Preferred Skills:
- Previous auto mechanic or co-op experience preferred
- Automotive electrical systems experience a plus
