Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting efficient, safe, and data-driven warehouse and dock operations through daily planning, reporting, and performance analysis. This position partners closely with operations, logistics, and cross-functional teams to monitor KPIs, manage systems, and identify trends that impact throughput, cost, service, and inventory flow. The Analyst proactively identifies process improvement opportunities and recommends and implements solutions that enhance operational efficiency and help ensure uninterrupted manufacturing output. Leveraging data from multiple ERP and WMS platforms, the role translates complex information into actionable insights for operational and leadership teams. The position also provides hands-on operational support as needed, including the use of forklifts, scanners, and other warehouse tools.
Essential Duties:
Functional Operations:
Coordinate daily warehouse and dock planning activities by aligning customer requirements, operator productivity, transportation schedules, and inventory flow
Oversee system management activities supporting warehouse and dock operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution of operational plans
Support shipping and receiving operations as needed by safely operating forklifts, scanners, and other material-handling tools
Execute additional supply chain–related projects and operational initiatives as assigned by the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization
Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
Develop, maintain, and deliver standard and ad-hoc reporting to support efficient, resilient, and adaptable supply chain operations
Track, analyze, and interpret KPI metrics to identify performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities within warehouse and dock operations
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend, implement, and track solutions that enhance operational efficiency and maintain 100% manufacturing throughput
Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives by contributing innovative ideas, best practices, and data-driven recommendations
Training & Team Support:
Provide operational support to warehouse and dock teams during peak periods or as business needs require
Assist team members by clarifying data, systems outputs, and reporting insights that enable informed operational decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
Partner with logistics, supply chain, finance, compliance, 3PL providers, Business Transformation, and IT teams to support integrated and aligned operations
Collaborate with Business Transformation and IT teams to develop, support, and enhance integrations across ERP and WMS platforms
Communicate system requirements, operational insights, and analytical findings clearly and effectively to contractor, production, and executive stakeholders
Maintain positive, timely, and professional communications with internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment and operational effectiveness
Quality, Safety, & Compliance:
Conduct operational and systems audits to verify data integrity, process adherence, and compliance with established procedures
Ensure system processes and reporting standards are followed and deliver regular status updates, including monthly reports, to appropriate stakeholders
Adhere to all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements while performing analytical and operational support activities within warehouse and dock environments
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications
Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Required Education, Certifications, and Licenses:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a closely related field
Relevant work experience may be substituted for required education
Preferred Education, Certifications, and Licenses:
APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification
Certification in powered industrial equipment or lifting equipment
Essential Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, supply chain operations, data analytics, or other data-driven operational environments
Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools, reporting platforms, and database management systems
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
Proven ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, and resolve discrepancies using data-driven approaches
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and with external customers, suppliers, and partners
Ability to communicate cross-culturally with Japanese colleagues and business leaders in English
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, including identifying risks and opportunities across the supply chain
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and propose alternative solutions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong overall technical aptitude
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English

Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or data analytics environments
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Synapse or SAP
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP
Experience supporting operations in high-volume battery manufacturing or related industrial environments such as electronics, automotive, or energy storage
Experience supporting data-driven operational excellence, continuous improvement, or digital supply chain initiatives
Exposure to or experience with warehouse automation, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or advanced analytics tools in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments
