Job Title: Inventory Control SpecialistJob Description
As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in achieving our organizational goals by supporting the manufacturing floor and managing customer returns. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills who can manage multiple tasks and priorities daily while maintaining a solid attendance record.
Responsibilities
Facilitate communication with procurement when an inventory purchase is needed.
Own communication requirements between the Inventory team, Production, and Purchasing.
Coordinate, document, and execute cycle counts according to the schedule.
Research history for all inventory adjustments before processing transactions, particularly outside of normal cycle counts, such as negative inventory adjustments.
Provide guidance to material handling team members in support of Inventory Management directives.
Ensure materials are placed in appropriate bin locations and conduct frequent audits.
Manage the organization and flow of materials within the building and the warehouse.
Essential Skills
Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to work autonomously with limited guidance.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage assigned hours plus overtime as needed.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a manufacturing setting where you will engage with various teams. You will use standard office software and tools to perform your tasks. The position may require working assigned hours and additional overtime as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of De Pere, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
