We currently have a vacancy for the position of Material Planner at our Videojet Technologies Europe B.V. location in De Meern .
The operation of Videojet Technologies Europe B.V. in De Meern consists of two parts, namely:
1) Distribution of high-quality coding and marking equipment and related supplies to our customers in EMEA;
2) Production of a broad portfolio of inks to meet specific customer requirements (from food grade to technical applications).
The Material Planner is responsible for the timely availability of raw materials for the production department and finished products for our customers across EMEA. In this regard, it is important that objectives regarding maximum delivery reliability and optimal inventory levels are achieved. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain operational knowledge and experience in logistics, production and distribution at a globally operating company. The Material Planner works in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborates with a large number of disciplines spread across the globe. Strong communication and analytical skills are therefore a plus.

The role is located in De Meern, Utrecht with a hybrid working model.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Plan and manage current and future inventory using planning systems
Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve supply gaps and issues
Maintain planning parameters, master data and open orders in ERP systems
Manage purchase orders and monitor our inbound flow of open orders
Support inventory management, monitoring of supplier performance and KPI reporting
Contribute to or lead problem solving, customer issue prevention and continuous improvement using Veralto Enterprise System tools
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Management
0 to 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or a related field (internships included)
Experience with ERP systems, Excel, and Supply Chain tools (preferred)
Exposure to Inventory Management, Supplier Management or Logistics is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong motivation to build a career in Supply Chain as well as rotate across functions in the future as part of your development
Analytical and structured mindset, comfortable working with data and numbers, managing multiple priorities
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Proactive, curious, open to feedback and an inner drive to continuously develop yourself
Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)

Momenteel hebben we een vacature voor de functie van Material Planner bij onze Videojet Technologies Europe B.V. locatie in De Meern.
De activiteiten van Videojet Technologies Europe B.V. in De Meern bestaan uit twee onderdelen:
De distributie van hoogwaardige codeer- en markeerapparatuur en gerelateerde benodigdheden aan onze klanten in EMEA; De productie van een breed portfolio aan inkten om te voldoen aan specifieke klantvereisten (van voedselveilige inkten tot inkten voor technische toepassingen).
De Material Planner is verantwoordelijk voor de tijdige beschikbaarheid van grondstoffen voor de productieafdeling en eindproducten voor onze klanten in de EMEA-regio. Het is daarbij van groot belang dat de doelstellingen met betrekking tot maximale leveringsbetrouwbaarheid en optimale voorraadniveaus worden behaald. Deze functie biedt een uitstekende kans om operationele kennis en ervaring op te doen in logistiek, productie en distributie bij een wereldwijd opererend bedrijf. De Material Planner werkt in een multidisciplinaire omgeving en werkt samen met een groot aantal disciplines verspreid over de hele wereld. Sterke communicatieve en analytische vaardigheden zijn daarom een pré.

In deze rol ziet een typische werkdag er als volgt uit:
Plannen en managen van de huidige en toekomstige voorraad met behulp van de planningssystemen
Coördinatie van interne teams en externe leveranciers om tekorten en problemen in de toeleveringsketen op te lossen
Bijhouden van planningsparameters, stamgegevens en openstaande orders in ERP-systemen
Beheren van inkooporders en het monitoren van de inkomende stroom van openstaande orders
Ondersteunen van voorraadbeheer, monitoren van leveranciersprestaties en KPI-rapportage
Het bijdragen aan of leiden van probleemoplossingsprocessen, het voorkomen van problemen voor klanten en continu verbeteren met behulp van de tools die deel uitmaken van het Veralto Enterprise System.
Kwalificaties & Ervaring:
Bachelor- of masterdiploma in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistiek of Management
Maximaal 3 jaar ervaring in Supply Chain Management of een gerelateerd vakgebied (inclusief stages)
Ervaring met ERP-systemen, Excel en Supply Chain-tools (bij voorkeur)
Ervaring met voorraadbeheer, leveranciersmanagement of logistiek is een pré
Vaardigheden & Competenties:
Sterke motivatie om een carrière in Supply Chain Management op te bouwen en in de toekomst door te groeien
Analytisch en gestructureerd denkvermogen, comfortabel met het werken met data en cijfers en het omgaan met meerdere prioriteiten
