Job Title: Welder - Fabricator
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Welder - Fabricator, where you will play a crucial role in building and assembling steel parts for large construction projects. With a focus on precision and safety, you will work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology, including automated CNC equipment and modern welding stations.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand welding specifications.
Assemble and weld structural steel components such as beams, columns, and platforms.
Ensure all welds pass visual inspection, x-ray, or other nondestructive testing.
Use MIG, flux core, and metal core welding techniques.
Perform layout, torch cutting, grinding, tack welding, and operate overhead cranes.
Follow work instructions from Production Supervisor and QC Inspector.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing Initiatives.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and weld symbols.
Proficient in MIG and flux-core welding techniques.
Strong understanding of quality standards and ability to spot and fix welding issues.
Experience with steel fabrication and fitting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to perform a MIG steel weld test per AWS code requirements.
Ability to tack weld, torch cut accurately, gouge, and safely operate an overhead crane.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
