Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a Senior Software Engineerto join our dynamic Atlas Labs team supporting our Geospatial sector. This position reports to the Director of Product and AI. Atlas Labs oversees technology development for Woolpert's Geospatial sector, including various types of AI model development, R&D, software infrastructure, and user-facing products. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located. What You Will Do: Contribute to the planning, research, design, architecture, development, and testing of Atlas Labs software features. You'll write code daily, definitely in Python and possibly in C++ or JavaScript. Work as part of a cross-functional Scrum team with domain experts in AI/ML, Geospatial Data, Software Engineering, and GIS. Collaborate with internal and external users to ensure the correctness, quality, and availability of Atlas Labs software products. What You Will Bring: Meaningful employment experience working on commercial software products Experience writing production code in Python, preferably dealing with large datasets Demonstrated experience or academic output in a relevant domain: Geospatial Data Processing Computer Vision AI & Machine Learning LiDAR Robotics/Self-Driving/Autonomy General familiarity with relevant technologies: Linux, Docker, and GitHub AI/ML frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch) Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google) Nice to Have: Familiarity with GIS applications like ESRI, QGIS, Google Earth Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes, AirFlow, MLFlow Programming experience in C++ or JavaScript Experience with Agile processes like Scrum Benefits You Will Love Certified as a Great Place to Work, Woolpert is one of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial companies in the world.
