Description
We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Dayton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational skills to support daily operations in a fast-paced medical environment. This role involves direct interaction with patients and staff, ensuring efficiency and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Verify patients' insurance information and prepare necessary documentation for the finance department.
• Coordinate patient appointments with the outpatient team and manage scheduling efficiently.
• Handle administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and organizing medical records.
• Notify staff promptly when patients arrive for their appointments.
• Utilize NextGen software to maintain accurate and updated patient information.
• Assist at the front desk to ensure smooth patient check-in and address inquiries.
• Provide attentive and courteous service to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with office procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical front office or receptionist role.
• Proficiency in patient scheduling and check-in processes.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and insurance verification procedures.
• Familiarity with NextGen or similar medical software systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
