Starting Wage: $18.00 an hour Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday Location:Dayton, Ohio What's in it for you: Paid Time Off 88Hours of Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans 401K Match Tuition Reimbursement Referral Bonus Program Growth Opportunities ClimateControlledFacility What you will do: Reads work order or pick tickets or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, moved, orprocessed Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, pallet jack, conveyor, or other material handlingequipment Loads materials into vehicles and installs banding and stretch wrapping to prevent shifting or damage intransit Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designatedarea Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily productionsheet Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information or cases orcontainers Packs and prepares cartons for shipping tocustomers Ensures accuracy or order and security of packaging to avoid damage inshipment Operate a pallet jack and forklift on a regularbasis Able to meet quality and productivitydeliverables Adheres to all safety policies andprocedures Other duties asassigned MinimumQualifications: 6+ months of related warehouse or distribution experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to learn how tooperatepower equipment Ability to read and understand writtenEnglish PreferredQualifications: 1+ years of relatedwarehouse or distributionexperience Experienceoperatingpallet jack, order picker, counterbalance, reach andturret trucks If you're looking for an engaging career with growth opportunities in a supportive environment, you'll love a career at Daikin Applied!
