What Makes This Role Great: This isn't a standard support desk; you are a technical consultant and the "Voice of the Customer." You will take ownership of advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 civil engineering escalations, diagnosing complex data discrepancies and influencing the future of Trimble software by translating job site realities into product requirements. Key Exciting Responsibilities Resolve high-complexity workflow escalations involving corridor design, mass haul discrepancies, and data synchronization errors. Validate new software features through rigorous system testing to ensure they meet the demands of active construction projects. Represent the "Voice of the Customer" in product development meetings to shape future software releases. Lead advanced technical boot camps and training sessions for global resellers and internal teams on the full construction lifecycle. Author expert-level technical guides and troubleshooting content to build a world-class knowledge base for digital construction. Essential Skills & Experience 8-10 years of direct industry experience as a Senior Data Prep Technician, Civil Designer, Construction Surveyor, or Take-off Engineer. Expert proficiency in Trimble Business Center (TBC) and industry-standard design platforms like AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation. Deep understanding of mass haul analysis, earthworks optimization, and volumetric computations. Proven ability to debug and optimize 3D machine control models and complex data sets (DTM, TTM, XML). Strong technical knowledge of Site Positioning Systems (Siteworks, GNSS, Total Stations) and their integration with office software. Bonus Points For Advanced certifications in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying. Experience with WorksManager and WorksOS platforms. Proven track record of mentoring junior technical staff in a high-pressure environment.
