Job Overview

[Metcon Ltd. is seeking an experienced ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Concrete Foreman[ to lead crews on active construction job sites. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on concrete experience, and the ability to keep projects on schedule while maintaining high safety standards.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Key Responsibilities

• [Lead and manage a crew on concrete job sites ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Oversee footers, walls, slabs, and general sitework ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Coordinate with Project Managers, crews, and customers ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Troubleshoot issues in the field and make timely decisions ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Train and develop crew members ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Perform layout, forming, pouring, and finishing work ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Complete daily reports and timekeeping using apps (UKG or similar) ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Maintain a strong focus on safety and OSHA compliance ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Requirements

• [3+ years of concrete construction experience (Foreman or lead role preferred) ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Proven ability to supervise crews and enforce accountability ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Strong understanding of construction plans and layouts ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Willingness to travel to job sites (1--2+ hours as needed) ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
