Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seekingan experiencedChief Cybersecurity ArchitectCompliance Architectto play a key leadership role in designing and authorizing secure systems forNext Generation Missile Defenseand other classified DoD initiatives. As the Chief Cybersecurity Architect, you will provide strategic direction and technicalexpertiseon system authorizations, cybersecurity compliance, and the integration of secure digital ecosystems within classified environments. By guidingAuthorization to Operate (ATO)andAuthority to Connect (ATC)processes, you will ensure mission-critical systems meet the highest standards of security and performance in alignment with DoD policies. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Act as the senior advisor and technical authority on RMF, cybersecurity compliance, ATO/ATC processes, and secure system connection requirements forNext Generation Missile Defenseand other advanced DoD programs. System Authorization & Risk Management Framework (RMF): Lead system authorizations frominceptionto completion, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards and achieving ATO and ATC approvals efficiently. Cybersecurity Policy Application: Apply DoD, federal government, and NIST guidelines, including DISA STIGs and RMF strategies, to secure systems and networks supportingmissile defense capabilities. Classified Ecosystem Support: Design, approve, and sustain digital ecosystems within classified environments, ensuring compatibility across DoD networks that supportmissile defenseand related efforts. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leaders, technical teams, and AO/ATC authorities to influence decisions and ensure mission success formissile defense programs. Compliance Oversight: Lead audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies tomaintainoperational security and regulatory compliance across SCIF-based systems. Documentation Management: Create, review, and approve high-level authorization documents, risk assessments, and AO/ATC packages. Team Development: Mentor and develop technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and mission focus within classified operations. Required Qualifications: Minimum of15+ yearssupporting DoD cybersecurity, RMF implementation, system/network authorizations, and classified operations. Extensive experience managingATOandATCprocesses for government systems, particularly those supportingmissile defenseor related capabilities. Deep understanding of RMF (NIST SP 800-53), DISA STIGs, and cybersecurity frameworks associated with classified environments and DoD systems. Proficiencyin using tools likeeMASS,ACAS,Nessus, or equivalent platforms for vulnerability management and compliance reporting. Strong technical understanding of digital ecosystems, integration processes, and secure communication networks for defense programs. Active certifications such asCISSP,CAP,CISM, or equivalents; DoD 8570 IAM Level III certifications preferred. Demonstrated ability toadvisesenior leadership, influence strategic decisions, and manage cross-functional teams in achieving secure system connectivity and authorizations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Clearance Requirements: ActiveTop Secretclearance with SCI eligibility U.S. Citizenship is required Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldrequired; Master'sdegree highly preferred.
