Title Acquisition Logistics Support SME Req Number CON-25-00002 Requisition Category Active Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Location Dayton, OH Description Position Location: Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton OH (on-site) About the Role: The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Special Programs Office (AFLCMC/WAG) develops tests, and rapidly fields classified Air Force aeronautical capabilities. Executing a significant budget, AFLCMC/WAG conducts studies to identify new capabilities; transitions laboratory technologies to operational platforms; executes demonstrations; and develops, tests, and rapidly fields new capabilities for the warfighter. The primary task is to support the acquisition of aircraft systems and subsystems. Experience Requirements: 20 years of relevant experience- 3 of the last 5 years must be in an SAP environment Apply logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy. Perform as key participants in developing long-term weapon system supportability approaches that further the government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives. Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Order (TO)s, technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets government logistics support requirements. Work on logistics and maintainability programs, and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistic requirements and resources, development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans, systems acquisition requirements analysis and control, Automated Information System (AIS) hardware and software standardization and compatibility, product support/Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Cost (RAM-C) program test and evaluation planning and execution, and product support/RAM-C analysis and assessments in supportability planning. Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings. Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information. Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts Support the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases. Assist with technical analyses, planning, and execution and assist the government in the review of technical specifications and documentation in support of Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) efforts to facilitate and update sustainment issues identified as related to the Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP) and Integrated Support Plan (ISP).
