Adecco US, Inc. Warehouse Worker with Forklift in Dayton, New Jersey

Location: Dayton, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:30pm

Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00/hr

Job Summary

Adecco is hiring for a Warehouse Associate in Dayton, NJ. The Warehouse Associate will support daily distribution operations including receiving, stocking, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role is critical in maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety within the warehouse. This position includes an 18‑month probationary period to achieve T06 status.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound materials and prepare outbound shipments

  • Complete ERP transactions to maintain accurate system records

  • Meet productivity and team performance goals

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

  • Prepare Hazmat documentation (UPS, FedEx, LTL)

  • Generate Bills of Lading for outbound freight

  • Operate material‑handling equipment and conduct cycle counts

  • Adhere to company quality standards and safety procedures

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to fluctuating temperatures (hot summers, cold winters)

  • Warehouse environment with noise, dust, and airborne particles

  • Operation of forklifts and other large equipment

Safety Requirements

  • Follow company and OSHA safety regulations

  • Proper handling and labeling of hazardous materials

  • Required PPE:

  • Steel toe boots

  • Safety glasses

  • Safety vest

  • Additional PPE as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Lift 50+ lbs frequently; up to 75 lbs occasionally

  • Prolonged standing; frequent bending, reaching, and ladder climbing

  • Ability to work in varying climate conditions

  • Ability to load/unload trucks and use warehouse equipment

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
