Responsibilities
Setup and run state-of-the-art laser cutting systems.
Clean and inspect lifesaving medical device components using acid pickling solution while wearing PPE.
Master all operational processes and propose improvements.
Participate in the startup and shutdown of all facility equipment.
Inspect components to ensure specifications are met.
Train other employees in production processes or equipment usage.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
Adhere to company policy and safe labor practices.
Maintain a high standard of conduct and job performance.
Have fun in the process!
Essential Skills
Experience in machine operating, production, manufacturing, and quality control.
Proficiency in inspection of parts using tools like calipers and microscopes.
Basic math skills including conversions from millimeters to centimeters.
Computer literacy and data entry skills.
Familiarity with spot welding, hand tools, power tools, and laser systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
Experience with inspection equipment is advantageous.
Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities.

Work Environment
Work in a clean manufacturing environment with two shifts available: 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30pm - 10pm).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davis, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
