Assignment Rate (remainder of the 2025-26 school year): $277 per full day
Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the classroom teacher;
Support school-wide behavior expectations and routines aligned to restorative and equitable practices;
Accurately take attendance and complete required reports or logs;
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration;
Follow all district and building policies, including safety and student supervision expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to regularly sit, stand, speak, hear, see and walk to carry out routine duties.
Must be able to lift, move, or push items up to 50 pounds.
Good attendance and punctuality are required.

Minimum Requirements
Must hold a current Iowa Teaching License, Iowa Substitute Teaching License or an Iowa Substitute Authorization License.
