Summary:
In this role, you’ll work closely with customers, our sales team, and suppliers to prepare accurate quotations, manage projects, and ensure timely delivery of switchgear solutions.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong electrical distribution knowledge who enjoys problem-solving, customer interaction, and managing technical projects from start to finish.
Reports to: Inside Sales Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems.
Working knowledge of switchgear, switchboards, transformers, panel-boards, motor control centers, circuit breakers, and fuses.
Strong math, grammar, and geometry skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Square D products (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent field experience.
Working Conditions:
- Working conditions will be standard for an office environment & warehouse.

Essential Job Functions:
Interpret project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare quotations (pricing, delivery, and technical details).
Value engineer projects to ensure 3E is positioned as the most competitive bidder.
Place material orders based on project/customer requirements.
Manage projects to ensure orders are delivered on time and according to specifications.
Collaborate with customers and the sales team to review project needs and recommend 3E solutions.
Act as the key contact between customers and suppliers for pricing, delivery, service, and technical support.
Provide product recommendations and design layouts for design-build projects.
Prepare operation and maintenance manuals after project completion.
Work independently while collaborating with the quotations team.
