An Endoscopy Registered Nurse at MercyOne provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for infant through aging adult patients with gastrointestinal disorders/diseases, pulmonary conditions, and adults requiring prostate seed measurement and placement.
Key Accountabilities:
Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification
Planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice
Adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA
Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
Schedule:
32 hours per week
Day shift
7 am flex start time
Rotating call schedule
General Requirements:
Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa.
Possession of Illinois Registered Nurse license within 1 year of hire.
Basic Life Support certified within six (6) weeks of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
