What You’ll Do
- Prepare and present dishes to Hilton’s high standards of quality and consistency
- Complete all mise en place for relevant menus
- Support the kitchen brigade and collaborate across departments
- Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination in all work areas
- Monitor food costs and contribute to revenue targets
- Report maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues promptly
- Comply with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Strive to meet departmental goals as part of a dynamic team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef
- NVQ Level 1 (Level 2 preferred) or equivalent qualification
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Team player with a passion for learning and culinary excellence
- Completion of a basic food hygiene course
- Accredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience in high-standard, fast-paced kitchen environments
