Geisinger System Services Application Developer Lead in Danville, Pennsylvania
Responsible for leading a team supporting the Customer Relationship Management applications to maximize customer acquisition and retention. Represent the functional requirements outlined by the business and translate them to solutions for technical development teams. Responsible for the process, life cycle, and creation of the software to assist users in completing a computer task or program. Develop project schedules, project organization, risk management, and oversee execution of delivery. Create, review, analyze, modify, and test applications using modern development methodologies and tools and oversee this activity by others. Oversee and provide code review, testing, debugging, technical documentation, general testing instructions, go-live planning and support. Utilize Salesforce platform to configure workflows, integrate Salesforce using REST and SOAP APIs, design data models, and migrate data. Use Apex coding language for core Salesforce CRM software and SOQL Language for database query and analysis. Communicate all progress, roadblocks, issues to the team and management. Provide training and documentation to team members on new development assignments. Position allows for 100% remote work.
REQ: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in: using Salesforce Platform to configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules; using REST and SOAP APIs for integrating Salesforce with other systems; designing data models that support business processes and reporting needs and conducting data migrations; application development leadership experience with removing developer roadblocks, code review and clarifying functional and technical requirements; and Salesforce technical languages like Apex for custom coding and SOQL for database query. Position allows for 100% remote work.
