As an Advanced Machine Operator, you will start up machines, change the tooling of the machines to run different product, complete intermediate troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks when issues arise, be alert to product quality and follow all control plans accordingly, and train others.

  • 1st Shift: $18.50/hour

  • 2nd and 3rd Shift: $19.50/hour

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.50 / hour

Duties:

  • Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace.

  • Maintains established 6S standards for work area.

  • Responsible for completing control plan inspections.

  • Loads, unloads, sorts, and inspects proper component parts and assemblies according to Control Plans and ensures accurate assembly.

  • Maintains ownership of Quality Sorts ¿ stops the process, handles non-conforming products on their shifts.

  • Completes line set-ups, startup and changeover activities.

  • Responsible for preventative maintenance activities.

  • Completes advanced tooling changes.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, negative and positive numbers.

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.

  • Use of Metric System. Ability to solve practical problems and apply common sense understanding carry out instructions furnished in written/oral.

  • A minimum of three years consecutive work experience in a Production and or Manufacturing environment required.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members and other employees of the organization.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP Integrated Business software and work order software.

  • Use computer with Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Suites software.

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
