Insight Global SAP Master Data Analyst in Danvers, Massachusetts

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Data Analyst / SAP Master Data Analyst to support our large medical device client in Danvers, MA. This role sits within the Quality Systems & Digital Solutions team and is critical to ensuring data integrity, system effectiveness, and actionable insights that drive quality improvements and operational excellence in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate is both analytical and systems‑oriented, with experience working in SAP, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to partner closely with IT and Quality stakeholders to support reporting, system configuration, and testing activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis & Reporting

-Collect, extract, analyze, and interpret data from SAP, -----Quality Management Systems (QMS), and related platforms.

-Translate complex data into meaningful insights, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

-Develop and maintain monthly recurring reports required by the Quality and Operations teams.

-Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.

-Define, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality processes.

SAP & Systems Support

-Act as a SAP Master Data and systems analyst, supporting data accuracy, configuration, and usability.

-Partner closely with IT on SAP system configuration and enhancements.

-Own test script execution for SAP and quality system changes.

-Support user stories related to system updates, enhancements, or fixes.

Serve as the liaison between the business and IT:

-Execute system testing

-Identify and document defects or gaps

-Clearly explain why a configuration or solution is not working

-Work with IT to refine solutions

-Retest and validate corrections

Quality Systems & Compliance

-Monitor and maintain data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

-Support audits, CAPAs, non‑conformance investigations, and management reviews with reliable data and reporting.

-Implement and maintain data governance practices aligned with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR, and other applicable regulations.

-Provide technical support for data‑related issues and recommend improvements to systems and workflows.

-Maintain a strong understanding of Quality systems and how data and SAP configuration impact compliance.

Compensation:

$30/hr – $35/hr

(Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.)

Skills and Requirements

Education

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience

-2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated healthcare environment.

-Hands‑on experience working with SAP (master data, reporting, or configuration support).

-Familiarity with Quality Systems and regulatory standards (FDA QSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR).

-Experience supporting system testing, validation, or IT‑driven enhancements.

Technical Skills

-Strong proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

-Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.

-Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.

-Experience with data cleansing, validation, and governance.

-Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and presentation skills.

NICE TO HAVE

-Experience acting as a business–IT liaison for system changes.

-Exposure to SAP testing, validation, or configuration projects.

-Understanding of how data supports CAPA, audits, and quality metrics.

-Medical device industry experience strongly preferred.
