Mental Health Clinician – Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS)
Location: Danvers, MA
Program: Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: Approximately two weeks from offer
Pay Rate: $57/hour
Assignment Length: Ongoing assignment (coverage for a medical leave)

Amergis Staffing is partnering with a highly respected facility in Danvers, MA to hire a Mental Health Clinician for their Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and is passionate about crisis intervention and stabilization.
About the Program
The Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program is a 24-hour, short-term service designed to stabilize and support adults experiencing acute psychiatric distress. The program serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization and provides care in a structured, supportive environment. Clinicians play a critical role in rapid assessment, engagement, and stabilization planning.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and clinical assessments for adults experiencing psychiatric crises
Provide stabilization interventions and short-term treatment planning for clients and families
Utilize effective de-escalation techniques and manage co-occurring substance use concerns
Deliver urgent care services including crisis planning, stabilization, and short-term therapeutic interventions
Provide services in-office, virtually, in the community, and in clients’ residences, based on client need and clinical direction
Complete safety assessments to determine appropriate level of care, including community-based services or hospitalization when necessary
Develop evidence-based safety plans and crisis plans focused on stabilization and maintaining the safety of clients and others
Deliver all services using a strengths-based, solution-focused, client-centered, and recovery-oriented approach
Mandatory overtime may be required based on program needs
Qualifications
Master’s degree required (Social Work, Psychology, or a related field)
Strong diagnostic and crisis intervention skills
Experience developing short-term interventions and engaging clients and families in crisis
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
Experience in high-turnover or high-acuity settings (e.g., respite or crisis care) strongly preferred
Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
