Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join our team in Danvers, Massachusetts. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term career development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up to date.
• Code invoices correctly and verify details to maintain compliance with company policies.
• Scan and organize financial documents for record-keeping and auditing purposes.
• Handle order entry tasks to ensure smooth and timely processing of transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.
• Maintain organized and detailed records to support financial audits and reviews. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and invoice coding.
• Proficiency in scanning and electronic document management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage order entry tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• High level of proficiency with accounting software and tools.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
