The Opportunity:
As the SAP Technical Project Lead, you will be the primary in-house SAP resource who will lead coordination of our SAP support and enhancements in partnership with business stakeholders and third party vendors. You will develop an understanding of the current SAP landscape and utilize your expertise to identify areas of improvement and champion new processes that increase quality, productivity, and efficiency. You are process oriented and analytical, but comfortable with ambiguity due to the ever-changing environment supporting a growing company.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for project managing SAP S/4 HANA system support activities including enhancements related to refining requirements, performing analysis of requirements and determining the best user-friendly solution
Primary liaison with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements
Vendor management and ensure accountability of third party SAP vendor
Lead cross-functional relationships to collaborate on identifying business needs as it relates to SAP system requirements
Identify and manage risks proactively while acting on potential risks/issues and provide proposals to senior management if escalation is required
Ensure all projects have a timeline, budget, and scope and are monitored and reported on throughout the lifetime of the project
Develop visualizations for metrics, key performance indicators, and data solutions to ensure decisions are informed and data driven
Engage with the IT Project Management Team, utilizing standard processes, templates, and reporting to ensure broad visibility of project status
Implementing document control policies and documentation templates
Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary
Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget
Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards
Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems
Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies
Project management of other IT related projects as required
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree 5+ years of project management experience; experience managing SAP ERP projects required
Prior SAP hands-on configuration experience is a plus
Proven experience in vendor management and accountability
Self-disciplined with a proven track record of driving project deadlines/milestones within a dynamic environment while maintaining the highest standard of compliance and quality
Ability to work in a dynamic rapidly changing environment where priorities can shift quickly
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to lead and resolve daily issues
Ability to speak up as appropriate while identifying and escalating issues as required
Ability to proactively anticipate business requirements and provide strategic recommendations
Strong prioritization and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high degree of flexibility
Excellent written and verbal communication is required
Desired:
- Aerospace industry experience is a plus

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to use hands to keyboard, communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions and remain stationary for extended periods of the time. This would require the ability to move around the campus and occasionally move/lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,200
