We’re seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to support and grow our Danbury, CT territory. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping customers succeed through innovative welding and industrial solutions.
What You’ll Do
As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving profitable growth and strengthening customer partnerships. You’ll:
Grow territory sales and profitability through expansion of existing accounts and acquisition of new customers
Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and lead follow-up
Develop and promote welding equipment sales and rental solutions within your assigned region
Prepare quotes, deliver presentations, and provide consistent customer follow-up
Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders across all departments
Actively manage and support customers’ cylinder inventory programs
Review customer operations and recommend process or equipment improvements as opportunities arise
Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to exceed customer expectations
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction-related environment
Proven sales success with measurable results
Strong technical aptitude paired with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Sales experience in welding equipment or industrial equipment rental preferred
Working knowledge of welding applications, positioning equipment, and related technologies is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer focus with a passion for building long-term relationships
