Traveling Superintendent – Solar Construction
Lead solar projects. Travel with support. Build clean energy.
We’re hiring a Traveling Superintendent to oversee field construction for distributed generation (DG) ground‑mount solar projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, managing teams, and traveling to support active solar sites.
Location: Long term travel with perks
Pay: 100k - 115k plus per diem (GSA Rates)
What You’ll Do
Lead daily construction activities across multiple ground‑mount solar projects
Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and onsite work to stay on schedule
Enforce safety standards and ensure high-quality installation
Read plans, manage sequencing, and resolve field challenges
Travel between projects, primarily in Colorado, with future work in the Northeast
What We’re Looking For
Superintendent, project manager, construction manager or field leadership experience in solar or large-scale construction
Strong understanding of solar site operations and construction sequencing
Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple work scopes
Safety-focused, organized, and adaptable
Willingness to travel as projects require
Pro Core or Bluebeam Experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $61.00/hr.
