Description
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to take on a pivotal role in analyzing customer profitability and cost structures for our client’s largest accounts. This contract position is based in Dallas, Texas, and offers a unique opportunity to provide actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will excel in financial modeling, data analysis, and translating complex financial data into clear recommendations.
This is a 2-4 week contract assignment

Sr Financial Analyst (contract position)
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed analyses of revenue, cost structures, and gross margins for the company’s top 10 clients.
• Collect, validate, and interpret financial and operational data related to customer contracts, pricing models, and service delivery costs.
• Develop and maintain advanced profitability models using Excel or other analytical tools.
• Present findings and key profitability drivers to senior leadership in an actionable and concise manner.
• Identify opportunities for cost reductions, process improvements, and pricing optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance during the analysis.
• Evaluate overhead allocations and their impact on customer profitability.
• Provide insights that support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analyses as needed to address specific business questions or challenges.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis or cost accounting, preferably within a B2B or client-focused environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with building dynamic financial models.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in handling large, complex datasets.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business strategies and insights.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Familiarity with profitability management and cost analysis techniques.
• Prior experience in project-based or consulting roles is highly desirable.
