About the Team:

The Daily Ops Team processes Periodic, Quarterly, Annual, and Amended paper tax filings and check payments for our customers. We work closely with the Trust, Amendments, Tax Notice, QE Filing Ops, and Payment Services System Support Teams.

About the Role :

As a Senior Data Operations Rep, you will be a crucial part of the Daily Ops Team, responsible for overseeing the processing of periodic, quarterly, annual, and amended paper tax filings and check payments on behalf of our clients. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams within the organization. This role requires a blend of independent work and teamwork, with a strong emphasis on organization, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines.

This role is required to be on site 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) in our Irving, TX office location.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership: Lead team members in the processing of paper tax filings and check payments. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.

• Process Oversight: Oversee the processing of periodic, quarterly, annual, and amended tax returns and check payments. Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and within designated deadlines.

• Document Management: Ensure that all tax documents are properly prepared, printed, scanned, and shipped to the appropriate tax agencies. Maintain meticulous records of all transactions and communications.

• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with the Trust, Amendments, Tax Notice, QE Filing Ops, and Payment Services System Support Teams to coordinate efforts, resolve issues, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Quality Control: Enforce quality control measures to review documents for accuracy and completeness. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal procedures.

• Client Tax Profile Research: Address complex client tax profile related inquiries and resolve issues related to tax filings and payments. Provide high-level support and maintain strong working relationships.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

About You:

Basic Qualifications:

• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading a team, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and thoroughness in processing tax documents and payments.

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet, and other relevant software.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, and other departments.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve complex issues efficiently.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while ensuring timely and accurate completion of all responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet, and other relevant software. Familiarity with tax filing processes is preferred.

• Experience: Previous experience in tax filing and payments processing, including leadership or supervisory roles. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $42,600 to $61,300. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
