Walmart Senior Manager II, Site Engineer - Supply Chain in DALLAS, Texas
Position Summary...
The Senior Site Engineer plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Distribution Center. This position partners closely with site and network leadership to identify, analyze, and eliminate process losses while establishing sustainable standards. By applying lean and process improvement methodologies, the Senior Site Engineer supports the Walmart Performance System, strengthens daily management routines, and develops teams to deliver safe, efficient, and customer focused operations.

What you'll do...
Lead and apply operational and process improvement expertise within the Distribution Center to eliminate losses and improve performance
Partner closely with site leadership (General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Process Improvement Manager) to drive end‑to‑end improvements
Manage and prioritize the work of Process Quality Engineers, balancing network initiatives with site‑specific needs
Apply continuous improvement tools (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, SPC, Time & Motion, 5S) to create sustainable standards
Support and demonstrate effectiveness of the Walmart Performance System and Daily Management System through problem solving and countermeasures
Drive execution of business plans and improvement projects, removing barriers, measuring progress, and adapting as needed
Develop, coach, and engage associates while fostering a team‑based and high‑performance culture
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, ethics, and integrity standards while supporting community engagement.

Strong operational and process improvement experience within a distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment
Proven ability to partner with leadership and influence cross‑functional teams
Hands‑on experience using continuous improvement and lean tools to drive measurable results
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making skills
Experience leading, developing, and motivating teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast‑paced environment

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $192,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years’ experience in Continuous Improvement work or related area OR 6 years’ experience in Engineering, Continuous Improvement work or related area.
4 years’ experience leading teams.
Knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System elements (for example, Statistical Process Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Quality Key Performance Indicators).
Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
