Jacobs Senior Maintenance Specialist in Dallas, Texas
Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll provide leadership as a subject matter expert with technical skills in maintenance training and maintenance management, and may also serve as a team leader for internal and external assignments. In addition, you'll provide technical expertise, business development, and handle client interactions for facility maintenance standards, best practices, mechanic training, key performance indicators, system reviews or optimizations, and O&M pricing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Lead training for field mechanics, including alignment, lubrication, thermography, vibration and other essential equipment preventive maintenance skills.
•Develop maintenance KPIs and related risk review processes for consulting clients.
•Lead facility evaluations with teams of operations, maintenance and management experts, and recommends improvements.
•Lead startups, development of operational budgets, guidelines, performs training, and performance evaluations for new facilities and execute the same.
•Provide onsite managerial functions in support of internal or external client projects on short-term (up to 6 months) basis, as necessary.
•Manage projects, including budgets and invoicing, safety plans, workplan development, and client interactions
•Make client presentations at kickoff meetings, sales interviews, progress meetings, and report findings
•Build network and cooperative relationships across business groups within Jacobs.
•Maintain a safe environment and person while setting a strong safety culture example to Jacobs staff.
•Any other related duty as assigned or requested.

(All Required)
•Bachelor’s degree college education or higher or a combination of the appropriate type and level of education and experience maybe substituted for the minimum education requirements
•CMRT, CMRP, CRL or related maintenance and asset management credentials
•Twenty (20) years experience in any buildings, factory or infrastructure maintenance environment (water/wastewater, power, manufacturing, facilities, etc.) including expertise in the technical aspects of preventive and corrective maintenance, staffing, budgets, training, startup or other specialties
•Supervisory experience of mechanics
•Knowledge of safety and quality processes
•Knowledge and experience with CMMS maintenance databases
•Current valid Real ID U.S. State Driver's License with no major infractions
•Valid U.S. passport
•Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
•Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with supervisors, coworkers and clients.
•Ability to provide supervision, guidance, training, and evaluation to Maintenance Specialist and client maintenance staff.
•Ability to prepare, consult on, or review maintenance cost and staffing estimates.
•Ability to lead maintenance team evaluations, mechanic training, new project startups, and other internal and consulting activities.
•Ability to lead business development activities in support of O&M contract operations and consulting tasks with other business groups.
