IBM Salesforce Solution Engineer – Healthcare & Life Sciences in Dallas, Texas

Your role and responsibilities
Collaborate with IBM account teams and clients to understand their mission, business processes, and technical requirements.
Design and architect innovative, scalable, and secure solutions primarily leveraging the Salesforce platform, including Data Cloud and various Salesforce Clouds (Industry, Service, Marketing, Sales).
Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase the value of proposed solutions.
Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients to refine requirements and validate solution designs.
Provide expertise on Salesforce best practices, architecture patterns, and integration strategies within a public sector context.
Advise clients on data modeling best practices within the Salesforce platform (SF Data Model) and how to leverage Data Cloud for unified data strategies.
Incorporate IBM's asset portfolio, including IBM Consulting Advantage and related Assets, into Salesforce-centric solutions where appropriate.
Respond to technical sections of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other procurement documents.
Stay current with the latest Salesforce product releases, certifications, and industry trends, particularly as they apply to the public sector.
Potentially mentor and guide junior technical resources.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and IBM internal teams.
This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.
Required technical and professional expertise
Proven experience in a solution architect or engineering role with a focus on pre-sales activities.
Demonstrated experience with the Salesforce Data Model.
Significant experience with Data Cloud implementation in a technical architect role.
Hold the Agentforce | Salesforce AI Specialist Certified credential.
Possess certifications in both Salesforce Data Cloud, Industry Cloud (i.e life science cloud, health cloud) and at least one core Salesforce Cloud (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, or a relevant Industry Cloud).
Expertise using SQL and SOQL.
Extensive experience implementing and/or architecting solutions using Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Salesforce Industry Clouds within complex environments.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience working with or selling to commercial life science, healthcare, state and local, eduction Sector clients is highly desirable
Preferred technical and professional experience
Additional Salesforce certifications
Experience with other relevant technologies and integration patterns.
Familiarity with healthcare-specific compliance and security requirements like HIPPA.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
