Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a skilled Recruiter to join our HR team. The Recruiter works to strategically optimize all aspects of the recruitment process. This position will deliver recruitment support to all HCSG branches, including developing innovative recruitment and sourcing plans, advertising jobs, screening applicants, and interviewing applicants. The recruiter will also engage in a full range of activities that produce a qualified applicant pool of candidates for job vacancies in advance of need. This position will manage recruitment reporting, applicant flow, and any other recruitment-related activities and deliverables, while demonstrating the commitment of the mission and vision of the organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Confer with VP of Recruiting and/or Sr. HR Director to identify recruiting needs and develop effective recruiting plans and strategies

Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs and online platforms

Network with technical schools and universities on developing recruitment programs to attract an applicant pool for open positions for all HCSG locations

Work with external headhunters and staffing agencies to identify talent for administrative/professional open positions for all HCSG locations

Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates such as LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Zip Recruiter, etc.

Coordinate with marketing department to create and distribute HCSG brand material and recruitment supplies to promote mission and vision of the organization

Travel to local/non-local job fairs to market the organization and recruit qualified talent

Ensure regulatory aspects of the full cycle recruitment process that is compliant with federal and state legislation

Maintain recruiting metrics (cost per hire, etc.)

Align job candidate profiles with staffing objectives

Develop staffing plans with Zone Managers to identify needs for each branch location (weekly meeting); Provide regular updates and feedback to managers in a timely manner

Create and submit rejection letters

Create, maintain and update all HCSG job postings

Facilitate and coordinate applicant on-line testing and scoring

Pre-screen all qualified applicants

Conduct phone interviews, if applicable

Review resumes and qualifications to determine suitable candidates

Manage applicant tracking system in the organizations HRIS

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or Marketing

3 -7 years of Sales/Marketing experience, with an emphasis in headhunting

3 - 7 years Recruiter experience and knowledge of general principles of recruiting

3 - 7 years of experience in managing applicant tracking systems

3 - 7 years of experience in candidate sourcing solutions

Knowledge of relevant social media platforms

Knowledge of applicable computer applications (Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Professional experience in a fast paced, mid to large sized company with ability to multitask

Knowledge of various local, state and federal laws

Ability to assess areas that need improvement and act independently to implement effective recruiting strategies within the organization

Must possess confidentiality

Must possess great planning, communication, and problem-solving skills

Must be able to work in a team setting

Must possess great negotiation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Level Degree with a concentration in Human Resources or related field

PHR/SPHR or SHRM - CP/SCP certification preferred

Knowledge of HRIS software

A track record of aggressive recruitment/sales is a plus!
