Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Department of Psychology at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team of psychologists and counselors.The ideal candidate will have experience in a rehabilitation setting as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes rehabilitation physicians, nurses, therapists, and other clinical professionals. A strong background in rehabilitation neuropsychology is preferred.
This position will be split between our Dallas Day Neuro Program and our Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide both assessment and intervention services, including brief bedside cognitive assessments and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations.
Offer consultation to physicians and other interdisciplinary team members.
Provide education to patients and families.
Participate in program development, clinically based research, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
PhD orPsyDfrom an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Health Psychology
Completion of an APA accredited internship
Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship with emphasis in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
Eligibility for board certification in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
Licensed or license eligible in the state of Texas
