Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a long-term contract position with an initial six-month term and a strong potential for extension. The ideal candidate will play a key role in upgrading and maintaining network infrastructures across multiple sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
POSITION: NETWORK ENGINEER
LOCATION: DALLAS, TX - HYBRID; 3 DAYS ONSITE
DURATION: 6 MONTHS POSSIBLE EXTENSIONS
RATE: $55 - $63/HOUR
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed site surveys to evaluate network environments and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of branch and site network buildouts.
• Upgrade and deploy Cisco Meraki wireless infrastructure, including WAPs and access points, across designated locations.
• Perform physical network tasks such as cabling, equipment installation, and configuration.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and project milestones.
• travel to selected sites as required
Requirements
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki systems, including wireless infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in branch networking and leading site buildout projects.
• Proven ability to perform site surveys and lead comprehensive network upgrades.
• Proficiency in cabling and managing physical network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Azure networking is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
